Our 2007/2008 school year will include an expanded curriculum of international studies, titled “Language and Communication Skills for International Relations”
Course Objective: Advanced studies of English language, combined with introduction to Estonian history, culture and daily life, designed to promote better understanding and further development of cultural and business relations between Estonia and other countries
Course Description: English Studies: development of good verbal communication skills, supplemented by solid knowledge of English grammar and usage Estonian Studies: introduction to Estonian heritage and culture Elective Studies: art, music and physical education
Study Program: Although the primary goal of this project is English studies, a balanced and varied curriculum is essential to its successful performance. To this end, additional subjects (to be taught In English) are included to complement English classes. A course outline for one 3 month semester is as follows: English Studies: 180 academic hours Art and Humanities: 65 academic hours Elective Courses: 45 academic hours Sports and Phys Ed: 20 academic hours In addition, the program includes sightseeing trips, excursions and other cultural events, as well as company visits.
